The Momma's Boy Story:

Conceived on the rickety floor of founder, Thaddeus Gardner's Encinitas apartment, Momma's Boy is a grass-roots production company inspired by the vivid colors, textures, and unconventional designs of the tattoo tradition. Driven to strike a balance between his many aspirations, Thaddeus ambitiously splits his time between developing his artistic vision for Momma's Boy and honing his craft at Raygun Productions.

In the winter of 2004, knee deep in stacks of his original drawings, Thaddeus first witnessed his art transcend the flesh and unite with the cottony exterior of a hooded sweatshirt. Praised by his colleagues and friends for his unique graphics, Thaddeus saw the future of his company.

Adapting contemporary style to basic functionality, Momma's Boy was born; a company ingrained in tattoo, but with obvious influences from Thaddeus' Southern California upbringing. Originating in an era during which mainstream clothing companies frivolously dump their assets into anti-brand marketing campaigns, Momma's Boy resists the trendy constraints that bind its competitors and separates itself by bold design, top-quality fabrics, progressive fits, and raw artistic influence.

Respectfully understanding the connection between all forms of cultural expression, Thaddeus designed Momma's Boy to showcase the talents of his favorite up-and-coming and established musicians, while also providing a variety of action sports sponsorship opportunities.

Propelled by art. Creative by nature. Mobilized by design.
